Hey everyone. A pretty short post but just wanted to show you our new web page design, kindly given to us by Cat from Gattoweb (see the previous post about her workshop here). It is one of the premade blogger templates and I really love the simplicity and how clear it makes the page. What do you guys think of it?
ALSO, we have decided to run a competition that anyone can enter. The competition will be to win a £15 gift card of your choice (it can be for any store you like as long as they do gift cards) and entering is really simple. The way to enter is to write a blog post for our society blog (like some of the previous posts on the blog that aren't by me) and you will be entered into the prize draw: SIMPLE, right?
So, send your blog post ideas to uomblogsoc@gmail.com for approval: ANY TOPIC IS WELCOME as long as it is a unique post never been published before, and after I have approved it, you will have to write the full post and send it back to be published, please included at least one image. The competition will end at the start of Semester 2, so you have the rest of this semester and the full Christmas break/exam period to get writing and I will announce the winner in early February. Everyone who has already written a post for the blog up to now, you have already been entered into the draw automatically!
